If you’re like Terry in having a passion for the poor, this platform presentation is for you. This keynote presents a user-friendly model which addresses global poverty. You and your team will learn how the micro-credit lending approach done on a “macro” level is a viable solution to some of the problems of poverty.

Her interest in this model will ignite your interest in doing something more than just tithe. She’s the perfect voice for a new model of international mortgage insurance–a plan which strengthens local banks in impoverished regions to lend to the poor with much less risk to themselves. It is a plan which produces homes for every family. New ideas for an age-old problem, and international mortgage insurance is one of them. Hear Terry’s Take on this model for the future.

This address applauds free market principals, traditional family values, common decency, and common sense. Many great thinkers of the past have shaped American conservatism today. In this keynote, Terry draws on what we have learned from them, and why the principles of conservatism are sound–because they are based on what men and women have discovered works through centuries of experience. Be uplifted with Terry’s Take on conservative values.

In this talk, Terry will expose her audience to her youth and those deeply religious women who shaped her values. She asks, “What happened to the nuns, the black-robed women of her past who took vows of poverty and chastity, who exercised corporal works of mercy, who fed the poor, nursed the sick, visited the imprisoned and superbly taught our children?” They were wise and left their mark. Will you leave your mark? Terry will help you remember how you were influenced and will encourage you to make wise decisions for your future.

A summary of common topics that Terry covers in speaking engagements.

On Speaking

Throughout my professional life, I have experienced the Media from all sides: as a working actress in television, film, and stage, as a reporter and TV news anchor, as a morning-drive radio personality, and as a host with News/Talk radio. While working in Media is fascinating and a calling of mine, it falls short of Platform Speaking. This is because the Media uses “trade tools” to impart information. For you to receive information, a variety of tools come out of the tool box: lights, cameras, scripts, headphones, costumes, computers, directors, producers, engineers, designers, stage hands, board operators, assistants, floor directors…just to name some. Whew! A whole lot of multi-tasking going on.

Platform Speaking, on the other hand, presents an opportunity for me to speak directly to you. When I’m at the platform it’s as much about you as it is about me. I’m freed up to present a one-on-one with you, where you’ll experience my passions first hand. In turn, you’ll become more passionate about your own work. You’ll see how you can make a difference every day in your community and in the world. You’ll see the rays of hope amid the gloom of the day; you’ll see solutions to problems. You’ll learn new trends for the future and how to improve your surroundings. More than anything, your passions will surface and you’ll be more motivated to change tomorrow for the better. I like the feeling of a one-on-one. I like the “in the flesh” experience of giving you Terry’s Take.

When I’m at a platform, you and I simply “speak” better. First-hand. Face-to-face. Direct. Intimate. Straight from the shoulder.

Platform Speaking: It’s more personal. And if you’re as passionate a personality as I am, we’ll have a powerful relationship together.
